ROUTE NOTES: This is a difficult route: adequate training and the use of mountain boots are advised. The route is well marked and once you have reached the peak itself, you can admire some impressionable landscapes. Along the way, you might run into wild animals, such as rock-goat and Alpine chamois.
Mont Glacier, with its 3186 meters, is the highest peak in Champdepraz Valley and in Champorcher Valley.
When you have reached the Fussy pass coming from Clavalité Valley or from Champorcher Valley, you can continue on to Mont Delà or Mont Glacier. It starts on level ground, but soon it begins to climb along the ridge. Towards the peak the terrain levels out again and you can come across small space where there are shrubs, bushes and the classic cross.
